My Favorite Lead Guitarist Joke

Q: How do you get a lead guitarist to turn down (or stop playing entirely)?
A: Throw a chart in front of him.
There are some funny lead guitarist jokes out there. This one doesn’t apply to me though. I studied this chart in preparation for a show with Smooth Avenue at The Sapphire Room in The Riverside Hotel in Boise. Showtime!

Authentic 66′ Stratocaster siblings in Boise & Paris

There’s a 66′ Fender Strat for sale in Paris, France that was built by the same worker (signed “DMR”) as the 66′ I have here in Boise. These siblings were built within weeks, if not days of each other. These pictures prove true authenticity with the dates on their parts and the signature of the hands that built them. The Paris guitar has had some work done (top photos), but it certainly adds up to the real deal. Mine has had little done to it and shares all the same markings as its France-based sister. How cool is that?
